A premier professional development event hosted by the University of Mississippi's World Class Teaching Program, which builds the classroom teacher’s practice in literacy pedagogy. This event will cover fluency, addressing struggling and reluctant readers, building meaningful/engaging relationships with caregivers, and utilizing writing as a companion to reading. The event will feature nationally known speakers and experts in their respective fields.
This conference will be recorded and made available as a literacy module hosted on the North MS Education Consortium’s website. Mississippi teachers will have six months access to the module for free. School districts will be notified when the module is available in spring 2018.
A vendor room will be available for the authors from 7:30AM - 5:00PM. Acceptable payments methods vary by authors.
