New Special Education Teacher Training
This session is designed for first year special educators to help them have a successful year integrating into their new role in the classroom. This workshop covers several topics including: Individualized Education Programs, strategies for implementation and data collection, building relationships for effective co-teaching purposes, important timelines, and addressing the needs of each individual student.

|Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66||Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers.|
