Partnerships To Insure Student Advocacy

Partnerships To Insure Student Advocacy

As parents, families, and schools create partnerships to support students, it is thru advocacy that we insure all students are treated fairly and have access to learning opportunities that will support their success. We consider how authentic and purposeful family engagement initiatives are being cultivated and sustained at the local levels.  However, are families being empowered to be advocates for their own as well as other children? And how are all stakeholders – parents, families, school leaders, teachers, staff, as well as students – being given opportunities to share in the responsibility of advocacy?
