Effective Literacy Centers (K-3)
The participants will discuss classroom characteristics with students that are academically engaged and where teachers and students are accountable for learning. The participants will look at several elements within the classroom:
Quality whole group instruction,
Differentiated Instruction with Learning Centers (Teacher-led, student-led),
Differentiated Intervention with at-risk students in small, flexible groups.
This workshop will provide hands-on activities.
Important Notes: Bring your MDE tub, from the LETRS training.
- Course fee includes CEU certificate cost.
- Participants will be provided approximately an hour to have lunch with their training colleagues on their own.
