NISL Regional Leadership Conference
The focus of this year’s session will be closing achievement by providing equity to all students to ensure their individual success. Our goals are for participants to take away a greater knowledge of how to create schools that are equitable for all. Our definition of equity is giving everyone what they need to be highly successful. We will concentrate on meeting the needs of our children with special needs and our ELL students as well as our early childhood students.
The conference will feature principals who have had success in moving their schools up through the accountability levels by utilizing strategies that are or were a part of their action learning project. We will also hear from our National Distinguished Principals and Coaches from Mississippi. The two small group sessions held in the afternoon will include strategies for implementation to assist in moving the achievement of all students in each school and classroom.
