One in five youth ages 12-18 are living with a mental health condition. For teachers, this means that in a class of 25, five students are impacted. This 8-hour course provides teachers, administrators, support staff, and safety officers with the knowledge and core skills for helping a young person who is experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge in getting the help they need when they need it. Completion of the course results in Youth Mental Health First Aid certification that is valid for 3 years.
