Kindergarten Academy 2022: Making and Tinkering with STEM in Kindergarten

Embrace a mindset for making and tinkering through engaging, playful experiences led by nationally recognized educator and author Cate Heroman and LSU Laboratory School Master Teacher Paige Zittrauer. In this session, you will have the opportunity to develop a practice of making and tinkering. It’s a fun, yet serious endeavor---spanning many content areas and fostering connections between art, science, and technology. Explore ways to engage kindergarteners in high tech, low tech and no tech experiences while encouraging creative thinking and problem solving.

Lunch will not be provided.
