The MDE's Office of Special Education and Office of Professional Development are excited to announce this opportunity for K-12 teachers--a 1 day, in-person conference that will highlight high-leverage practices (HLPs) that ALL Teachers can use to help ALL students thrive! Session topics included the following: Co-planning, Co-Teaching, building relationships, checking for understanding, problem-solving, roles and responsibilities, norms and routines, establishing effective groups, collaborating for students success, and MORE!!

Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers. |
