As the number of children requiring and/or requesting special services increases each year and as federal law continues to mandate compliance with the IDEA, it is important school administrators understand its provisions and how it should be implemented to provide the maximum and equitable learning experience for all students. This module will provide an overview of the IDEA, its regulatory guidance, and how school administrators can recognize appropriate program implementation.
