The Commission of School Accreditation, acting on behalf of the MS State Board of Education, determines the annual accreditation status of all school districts in the Fall of each academic year.  The status of each district and its member schools is verified by compliance with pre-set policies and process standards to improve schools.  Collectively, these policies and standards are referred to as The Mississippi Public Accountability Standards.  This updated module will provide an overview of the process standards by which school districts are held accountable, how the standards affect local protocol and policy, and provide a generalized application of each.
