Growing Healthy Futures

The Mississippi Department of Education – Office of Child Nutrition (OCN) is preparing to host the first statewide, Mississippi Farm to School Conference in September 2026. This training is designed for School Food Service Administrators (SFSAs), teachers, students, CACFP organizations, and farmers.

The purpose of the Mississippi Farm to School Conference is to bring together key partners—schools, farmers, educators, child nutrition professionals, and community organizations—to strengthen and expand farm-to-school efforts across the state.
